I'd like to get together a comprehensive list of what is actually
necessary to do the swap. By that, I mean what is actually needed, not "what can you add on to the project to make it cost an extra $1,000".
Anyone who has spent any time on the vendor sites such as:
http://www.windsor-fox.com/ will recognize the multitude of extra stuff that no one ever mentions when discussing how they did their swap. For instance, HEGO relay $40, smog pump idler pulley $97, Fuel Pump Bracket $291, etc...
Whatcha think?
Here is what I have done so far and the list for the swap. I also am adding the AOD.
1. 91 GT- 5.0L motor complete w/ accessories, computer and ALL harnesses, and AOD. (67K miles on it for $1000 - I got lucky)
