I was thinking about putting 5.0 emblems where the stock gtmustang emblems are. Any pics would help.

There is some guys with 5.0 emblems, it looks OK

I am wanting to do the same... this is probably the noobiest question on earth but how do you get the emblem off? Is there paint underneath? Ive never actually taken one off before

You can take some fishing line and run it behind the emblem in a sawing motion which will cut down through the sticker. You can also choose to keep those on there because there is a hole in behind it. I placed mine on the fender above the factor ones.

as the gtmustang ones, yea, basically, there is a lil problem, the fender has a whole in it, where the stock emblems had like a nipple going it, i covered mine up and put the 5.0 ones over the whole. if your gunna do this make sure to have goo gone, but dont let it sit too long.

Eh, if they know anything about domestic pony cars they'll know its a 5.0L.

If they don't, they'll be unpleasantly surprised.

I wouldnt mind the GT sign except that its in cursive.. I think it would be cool if ford had a better brand symbol too

I agree, I really like the GT emblems on the 2000-2003 GT's.

i hate it when most people think it has a 4.6L in it. and i say NOOOOO, it doesn't!

i got mine, cuz i love the fact it is a 5.0, and i wanna show it off 5.0 is the way to go

no their not man, there a hardcore straight font, the old ones had some italisism, dont they have a line through them to?
