The belts depend on if you wanna use your current accessories or not. Ive heard it can be a pain to keep the serpt. belts.

You can use the current 68 oil pan if it currently has a 289/302.

You do need a steel gear for the dist. to work with a roller motor. Ford Racing has the one you need. Make sure they know you need a steel dist. gear for the small diameter distributor. I got mine from the big Ford dealership in Houston. If you live in a big city, call the biggest Ford dealership and ask em.

You also need to keep the 50 ounce balancer on the front of the roller motor. If you are going to use your old accessories like I did, then you need a special balancer also from ford. It has to have the correct bolt pattern for the front lower pulley to bolt up, and also to align up properly to the water pump pulley.

I kept my stock c4 convertor.

Now, ive got a melt the rubber first, and scratch second automatic roller 5.0 car . *cough* those single cab hemi rams are nothing *cough*

thanxs for the replies and my current motor has a performer intake ,a 625 demon, heddmen headers, and a mallory dist. i will be swapping this to my roller engine and a 2400 stall converter.i heard that i can also use a bronze gear is this true and i live close to los angeles so finding a big ford dealership is easy.
