Just finished reading the latest issue of Mustang Enthusiast. They had 2 articles on the new FRPP 5.0 Cammer crate motor. What caught my eye is the Weber style fuel injection system. From reading the articles It appears that FRPP has the motor available to drop into your favorite project car for ~$15K. Not being able to afford that kind of coin, I wondered if they offer a 302 5.0 intake with Weber style fuel injection systems.

Started searching the Web and found these folks, http://www.imagineinjection.com/mustang.html and they offer a 48IDA Weber downdraft carburetor for the following motors HiPo 289,351, and 427.
Can you imagin each cylinder having it's own 50.8mm throttle body with a 30lb injector ? (they used a 30 on the 289 and a 43 on the 427) They won the SRMA Best New Product $500 & Up. I'm sure it would expensive, but if you've seen the pictures of the Cammer motor it sures looks very kool compared to the Eldelbrock Performer. Wonder how much hp would could get out a setup like that for out cars ?

Anyway something to think about, let's see I bet my Cobra RR hood would just clear the chrome air box for those bad boys.

Wow, just emailed "Bob" about noon and I received the following soon after.
The Imagine Injection system comes in two manifold styles. One with
no thermostat and with. The complete kits are intended for non injected base
cars. The Ford computer would be confused with an individual runner system.
The complete Imagine unit comes with an assembled intake, all sensors, air
filters, polished stainless throttle linkage, Haltech F10a computer, custom
loom and software. All billet is polished and anodized. The cost is $6750.
Please allow five working days for assembly and building the loom.
Thank You,Bob Ream
