5.4 3v starts on first hit.

no issues starting the motor except 1 and 2 plug wires reversed. i didn't check it, because i didn't expect it to start so easily.

i can't make dvd videos.

open headers rocks.

driver's side O2 sensor not connected yet. i have to wait for exhaust shop.

throttle response is excellent.

idle quality is as good as 4.6

99 percent finished with install. still have converter bolts, hydraulics, plumbing, and serpentine belt.

guesses at fuel injection TDC timing are correct.

i am considering selling the kit to install it. it will include detailed engine mods, and pieces necessary to simply bolt it in. the kit will be expensive though. oil pan and pick up, headers, intake adapters, wiring additions, etc. the most cost will be from the headers. they are required to make it fit. the rest can be found. part numbers for hoses, hydraulic lines, and the little things i had to make to get it in.

but think about the power... i estimate the starting power to be in the 335 hp range. that is at only 5500 rpms. with forged internals, cams, properly modified intake, 400/400 NA is going to be easy. LS days of dominance are over. with super charger (kenne belle) 500/500 with mild tune is easy.
