Anyways they question was, If I had a 5.4 how much would it cost to have it put in??? Labor and parts??? I just want to have an idea of how much money is involved for the swap. Also will it bolt up to the stock 5spd trans??

Hit modulardepot.com for questions like this. Not to many people get serious on this site like that. I got more help at modulardepot with my 4v swap. I don't know if they have the thread up still but its a whole thread just in doing a 5.4 swap step by step.

The deck height on the 5.4 is taller than the 4.6 making the entire engine taller, so the hood won't close. The exhaust will be tricky to do as it won't bolt to your factory H-pipe. It will however bolt, up to the tranny. 5.4's are more torque oriented for use in trucks [long stroke] and don't have vast amounts of HP.

An install quote? Good luck on that, when dealing with cross-swaps most places won't even think of giving you an estimate.
To take a ball park figure, [given that you have the complete 5.4 engine including all brackets and electronics] and allowing $500 for the custom exhaust and say $600 for the hood [including paint] I would say around $4000.00 give or take.
