has anyone done this? i've been tossing around the idea of putting a 5.4 into my car for a while, then I noticed Modmax has a 5.8 stroker. it's really got me thinking....

you have to select at the bottom how far back you want the posts to go. I'd also like to see a 5.4 in a late model mustang, stroke it to 5.8 and there's no excuse for not beating the pants off the LS1 boys.
Someone would have to pay me to stroke the 5.4 to a 5.8. The 5.4 already has an ugly ass stroke of over 4", yet it still has the 4.6's pathetic 3.5" bore.
More stroke is NOT what these engines need, ESPECIALLY the 5.4. A big bore setup is where it's at, someone on corral or MD is breaking 300RWHP with the stock intake, exhaust, and mild heads and cams on a big bore setup (4.6).
