5.4L DOHC in to a 2001 GT HELP!

One mentioned tweaking the booster. You cannot. You have to go hydroboost. The hydroboost works on the 4.6L 2V and 4V. It also works on the 5.4L 2V. I am not sure about the 5.4L 4V. If a 5.4L 4V is wider than a 4.6L 4V, than I would say one would be pushing it. If it won't fit, you have to use manual brakes.

his car already has hydro boost. it's a 2001.

clocking the hydro boost adds a little clearance. he will need it.

so billfisher you have a 5.4L DOHC in your mustang? if os what intake are you using, i heard that the sullivan intake kills low hp and low torque is that true.

i have a 5.4 3v in mine. if you want low end stick to 2v. 4v is for BIG HP. the sullivan is the best out there. Al is making ~600rwhp with a modified version.

with a 2v you can get adapter plates and run your PI intake and that will also allow you to use the stock hood

i will be using a DOHC 5.4 but will the stock internals handle 600+ hp with boost to it, 6000 rpm is limit for stock 5.4?
