Hey everyone. I'm still daydreaming about my future build-up, after my stock motor gets too tired. I was trying to decide between a 4.6L 4V Stroker and a 5.4L 4V, but someone mentioned a 5.4L Stroker. Is this possible? I found 3.75" Stroker kits @ Sean Hyland Motorsports and they didn't say which of the modular engines they were for. Would these kits work for a 5.4L? I think a 5.4L shortblock with billet internals, a stroker kit, FR500 cylinder heads, CompCams, and either a ported/polished Cobra intake or FR500 intake would just totally own everything. So it this even possible or should I go back to the drawing board? Thanks.

To be honest with you, I don't even know if the rods are the same length between a 4.6 and a 5.4. If they are, then the crankshaft must provide the additional displacement. This is also something in which I'm really interested, someone definitely knows the specifics

I know, though, that a Cobra intake won't fit on a 5.4. You will need a wider intake because the V of the engine is taller.

There was a topic started by a guy called DOHC330 (I think) about 6 months to a year ago about the new availability of such an intake.
