I have a 97 GT and I wanted to know how much it would be to change the transmission, and what would be the easiest way to do it?

Well i can tell your new to this hobby but its cool. When you write a thread don't be so general. What i mean by this is why do you want to change your trans? Do you want to put a 5 speed in or a auto?

If your to general no one will reply because they don't know what your talking about.

I think you're better off selling your car and buying another with a 5-speed

For the main parts here we go...

Youll need the new tranny, bell housing, pedal assembly, clutch, flywheel, shifter, quad and cable. Im sure there are a ton of other things to go along with this, its just all I can think of off the top of my head right now.

Im doing an auto to a 5 speed conversion on my 5.0 in a couple of months. It will cost some $$$ but so will the entire project . Can you say TKO
