I would save up another 3k and go shopping. 8K will get a something badass.

I'm contemplatng on selling mine after paint and getting a low mileage 93 cobra. Still cant afford a 03 like most of us.

Either one is nice, but a built one will save a lot of money in the long run if it was built corectly. That being said, you could be geting yourself into a lot of headaches with someone else building a car. If you build it yourself you will know how to fix it and know that nothing was rigged. It's all a personal decision, but if you have the money you should just look for a cheap Stang that has basic boltons like subframes and gears and use the left over money to mod it the way you like.

Wow, a blast from the past.

I'd also vote for buying something that isnt already modded, unless it's just super clean or professionally installed stuff with receipts. As said, you dont wanna have to figure out where someone screwed up or mismatched parts. That's just MHO though.

Good luck bud.

Personally I'd get a standard V8 car, but I'm a GT kind of guy anyhow. Once again, a motor swap = who knows what was done.
