Would u prefer considering price, durability, ease of installation, and power increase?
1.Novi 1000- suggested retail $1850

I vote for the Vortech. The Novi is probably a little on the small side for a 408 (just read your other thread), and I've heard of issues with Powerdynes breaking belts and being inefficient. The Powerdyne issues could very well be resolved by now though, and I could just be going by internet myth that's been beaten into my head over the years.

Now everyone in the world will know I wanna bang t
If this is for a 408??? NONE of those!
All of them are close to around the 1000cfm range... and thats not really large enough to feed a 408... trust me I have a vortech sc-trim.
and BTW, the sc-trim can be had for 1,800 or so.. call summit..
The novi 1000 is about the same size as the sc-trim... in fact.. in stock for stock form the novi base kit outperforms the vortech base kit.. but just ever so slightly.
But, if you were to ask me which is the best out of the 3 without regards to the application... then the Vortech would be my answer. Vortech has a solid reputation and decent customer service. Not to mention their blower has been bullet proof for me over the past 2 years.

None of the above. Save your money and do it right. Procharger with the air to air cooler. Self contained oiling system. Best power and customer service.
That or go single 80-90mm turbo.

Just hook a hair dryer into the air box. It'll even pre-heat the air, and that's good for power, right?
Years ago I heard some VW kid talking about doing this to get more power.

haha, it will be on a 408, but im still thinking if i want to blow my stock motor first while im building the 408, or start the 408 build and then supercharge it later.

The powerdyne is a great street blower, keyword, STREET, dont put that on a 408, screw the Novi 1000 go to 2000, or vortech S Trim
