My Mach1 has 4 cats. I believe same as the 03-04 GT's?

Still very restrictive when I looked at the design. I'm going with a SLP catted X or Bassani as soon as some mod $$$ comes in. Should sound sweet with either the Borla stingers or SLP loudmouth catback

Maybe GT's, but not Mach 1. 03 Mach had 4 cats.

Wow,the first time i saw an h pipe with 6 cats.
Mine has 4.But sits in my storage closet with only 400 (canadian) kilometers on it.I replaced it with an off road mac h pipe,then added 2 high flow cats for emissions law.
But come to think of it,i don't know if the stang was equiped with 6 cats,up her in the great white north .

oh yeah, 2 high flows will pass the CA sniffer, but NOT the visual test.

thats where knowing a smog guy comes in handy.

i just did a smog on my 98 GT today, blew relaly good numbers. anyway i have 6 cats and my stang is a Federal, non CA, car.

Well in my unit there a load of stangs, we all hang out and stuff so I checked the cars, as I was sure that the mods all came with 6. Well my 96 had 6 (now 0 ), a 98 with 6, an 02 with 6, two 03 Machs with 6, and an 01 cobra with yet again 6 cats. Pretty good sampling, not all purchased here in TX either.
