65 mm Throttle body

I found a 94-95 t-bird at the junkyard with a 5.0 in it with the throttle body angled like the 94-95 mustang gt's. Is this the throttlebody that can be used with forced 4's adapter plate?

Yeah that should be the same TB.

By the way you can make it fit yourself, it's really not that hard...

1994 up had the 4.6 engine, not a 5.0. It could be a 93. joe

I wasn't sure of the year, I assumed it was the same year as the mustangs that had the same motor.

Wasn't too hard really...


Just took a short piece of flat bar stock, cut it to the length I needed. You have to cut off the old throttle cable stud. Then I drilled holes in both ends of the steel bar and tapped them. The allen head bolt is a 6mm, and at the other end is a 5mm bolt that I ground the head of down to a ball and threaded it in. Works great.

Bob makes a bracket for the throttle cable, but last I checked he does NOT make anything for hooking up the linkage.

send your upper intake to bob and he will supply and attach the throttle body (port matched, he actually welds additional metal on to the intake so it can be ported more) and gives you the linkage adapter and TPS adapter
