Hi guys,

Sorry if this thread is in the wrong forum area, but I have an original 1965 Mustang Engine (In-line 6 cylinder) that I am trying to sell. I need to know if there is a VIN number or other identifying numbers located on the engine somewhere. If so, where can I find it? I am also looking into selling original transmission, driveshaft, and radiator. All work, as I traded them out for a 302 V8 about 4 years ago.

There is NO VIN identification on an engine that old. The only thing they had were stamped metal tags, the engine's being attached with the coil bolt.
