Anyone here have one or know somebody with one? I know where I can possibly get a brand new fiberglass cowl induction hood for mine for $150.

Post some pics if you have them. Thanks.

Try this man, I think it looks good but I'm still browsing for other vendors.

The paint color on your Coupe is really cool. What is it?

Thanks you guys. I think the cowl induction hood would look great on mine.
Nice Mustangs by the way. One question though, I take it those are both fiberglass hoods but GaPonyFarm, it looks like your still using the stock hood springs and latch. Did your hood come reinforced? 64.5GearJammer, how is your hood mounted? Using springs?

I'm using light tension springs with original hood latch... Its got fiberglass rails to support itself and is really pretty strong. The light tension springs are just slightly too weak to hold the hood up...thus the rod. Good control and no stress on the hood during opening & closing, though.

I would be seriously interested in buying a cowl hood at that price if this person has more for sale. Here is a pic of my car. I have to get rid of the air scoop(can't drive it in the rain). I am either going to put a Shelby style scoop on or a cowl hood. Appreciate a contact with this person if they are selling hood.
Thanks,
Daz
Sorry, can't upload image...send E-Mail address and I will send pic

I really need to find out more about this hood though and see if he is FOR REAL about it or just blowing smoke. He said $150 but either way I will soon find out if it's for real.

Thanks! Appreciate the effort. I was looking at Unjlimited Products and they seem to have both Cowl Hood and Cowl Scoop.

Just talked to my body shop guy and he is suggesting that I paint the car the
current Mustang Chrome Yellow.... that would be different since Maroon
coupes are a dime a dozen!

Paul
