Hey guys. New to this forum. Going to update my build on my 66 coupe.
Here is the story on my car. I bought it in march after bugging the guy I bought it from for the last 10 years to sell it. He retired and finey gave in! The car had sat for the last 18 years and before that it was in LA where he bought it. He was the original owner.Car has 82xxx on the car. It has a 289 with a 2bbl on it with a C4 Trans. It had a paint job in the 80s but was a crappy paint job. So thats on my list to do. The car is all original except the new fuel tank and fuel pump i installed. Car was parked with a full tank of gas So gas thank and sending unit was a must replace before it was drive able. So what i have done to it so far is changed all the fluids in the car, new gas tank,new sending unit,new battery new, fuel pump and a tune up. Ones i did that i got in an car and cranked the car over a few times and it fired right up! So now i am going to try and decide what i want to do next.
