When I park my Mustang on a slight incline the Original 4BB Carb seems to flood causing me to have to crank the engine more then it should to start then it studders until the gas is cleared out. Any one else have this problem, any solution? the carb was recently rebult by professionals but had the same problem before it was rebuilt.

if you have the 4100 autolite carb, likely the float level is a bit high, and the top gasket is not sealing properly. take the top off the carb and use a long file and flatten the top of the carb. remember to clean out all file shavings. lower the float level slightly, and put on a new gasket and the problem should be solved.
