Hello I have a Mustang Fastback 66, beside the door plates would their be another place I can find the production date. I will appreciate your feedback.
The last six numbers of the VIN are the consecutive run number. You could find someone with a run number close to yours and get an approximate date from that. Is there a particular reason it matters though? You can find if its an earlier or later production run by checking to see if your rear floor pan extensions have a channel for the e-brake cables(look under the car and see if the e-brake cables run over the rear frame rails and under the floor pan)
