I have had my car garaged for awhile and not started for a few months, went to the car and tried to start and nothing. No clicking, nothing. I went to walmart to get a new battery. Replaced and re-tested, same thing, turn the key , no noise, dead silence.

I checked battery cable and my negative cable was chewed up, i replaced the cable and it now the car try to start, engine moves, fan goes to turn but never turns over.

Any thoughts, would it be my starter? Alternator? or what could it be? It may be low in gas, ill try that first, a pump the pedal on gas, few times, when starting, and then while starting, as it usually turns over like that, but no dice?

My gas gauage is broke so it could be low on gas...or do u think maybe coolant got into engine, not causing the start, my car was overheating and changed thermostat but still overheats, thinkin maybe water pump or raditor change on that, but now its not starting, any thoughts? ill fix the overheating issue later basically i am moving, and need to move it, hate to pay alot of money for a tow, and would hate to two a 66 stang.

to start i will fill it up with 4-5 gallons of gas and small amount to carbourater directly.
