Has anyone replaced the chrome an seals . my chrome is shot an looks like having it redone is not an option . Has anyone used the replacement chrome trim or would i be better of getting a old pair in good condition an just cleaning them up . Being from the northeast it is becoming difficult to find parts in good condition .

I am currently working on a copy chrome plating kit to rechrome small parts like this. Once I get it up and running, i will let you all know how it turns out. Might save some of you all the headache!

Bocksta,

I redid all the window seals on my 66 (including between the glass and chrome trim) and had all my parts rechromed earlier this year. I'm not sure what you mean by "the replacement chrome trim" as I was unable to find any replacement parts for the quarter windows. I would have your existing stuff rechromed cuz the repro stuff looks like crap compared to a decent chrome job
