I have a '67 and I'm upgrading the brakes. I have '79 Merc Monarch front disks and 10" rear drums. I want to make them power brakes. Should I just use a power brake master cylinder for a '67 Mustang?

yes as long as it is a disc/drum design. in fact the 67 disc/drum master cylinder is the one everyone recommended back in the day when this brake conversion was first done.

you can use a granada proportioning valve, they are easy to plumb in line. if you cant find a granada valve, then most any disc/drum valve will work. if you have issues, then you can plumb in an adjustable valve into the rear brake line.
