67 coupe weight/ linear coilover spring rate

Hey guys, im jsut about to order a set of coil overs, QA1 aluma matics to be exact and needed to know what my rear weight may be, However i never got a chance to weigh the car before i started restoring it, and tore everything apart.

Its a 67 coupe, no ac, no power sterring, no power brakes.

It will have a 289 in it or a 302, with a 4 speed toploader. and a 9inch rear.

The guy i bought it from said its weight was around 2600 with a 428cj and a c4 trans, but im not sure if that was correct.

Any guesses as to the weight of the car?

2600# is with out a motor, most are around 3000-3200

My guess would be about 2750 with a small block. One of my books says 2575 for a coupe but doens't list options or engine, I would assume that weight is for the base model with the 6 cylinder. My Mach is 3200 with a 58/42 weight balance. Thats with a 351W, no power steering, no AC, front disks, aluminum wheels, heads and intake.

Were the coil overs for front or rear? Do you have any more information on them?
