67 Dash??

I'm in the process of restoring a 67FB that originally came with the console and I'm trying to determine something. Is the metal portion of the dash where the console connects different from the model that did not come with the dash? I have the console but have not completed the restoration of it and was not planning to do so at this time adn I wanted to just purchase one of the radio bezels and put it in the dash but I'm not sure they will work for sure.
