67 Power Steering Pump

Does anyone have a stock power steering pump from a 67 that they could look at and get back with me on this question? My engine is a 289 2v. I am detailing the engine compartment and would like to know if the FRONT part, where the pulley attaches to, of the pump is to be natural cast iron in color or if it gets painted the "power steering blue"

Any help would be appreciated

The canister and front housing are the Ford Power Steering Pump Blue. I have seen several NOS Ford pumps on Ebay and they are all blue.
