Have I been hiding in a cave or what. I know they are fairly rare but I've come across dozens of these over the years. They made thousands of them. When did they go from being a sort of cool novelty thing to ultra rare and high priced? There's a set of these panels selling for nearly $1,000.00 on ebay right now.

WTF?!?!

I've got a set in my garage that I intended to install, but for only $750 you can have them...LOL.

i thought that they were rare and i don't even know that much about the '67's only because the mustang magazines say they are. from what you say it appears to be more of an observation than fact. anyway that's what ebay is for, to separate the fools from their money. on a similiar vein i'm looking for a ram air system for a '71-'73 and i keep reading that they only built a few thousand of them but they are always showing up on ebay, and going for crazy money.

New reproductions are going for less than half that. Check NPD, CJ Pony parts, and the others.

No doubt! I thought the price was simply amazing is all. Mine are undamaged originals, with FoMoCo part numbers and everything. I bought them at a swap meet for $100, and they are the rarer version for convertibles...LOL.

Some fool was just separated from his moeny alright!

You'll have to replace the taillight panel if you do, there'll be some large nasty looking holes in it
