I'm cloning my 67 Fastback into a Shelby GT350. I bid and won an auction for a fiberglass nose. The seller asked me if I needed more parts. I told him I needed pretty much everything!
He said that he had a finished (preped, and painted and striped..blue with white stripes) Shelby hood, the headlight buckets, the interior panels with the rollbar cutouts and a Shelby trunk lid plus some small parts. We negotiated a price of $1000 for everything..including the nose! Saw pics of the hood and it is PERFECT!:D
Did I do good?  :jaw: I hope so..I just mailed the certified check!

If it fits well, you did very good indeed. I've spent lots of money and even more time to get the 'glass to fit on my clone. If you do go through with it, there will be times you want to give up, other times you want to put the stock stuff back on and just forget it and those days you'd like to pretend the whole thing was just a bad dream. But now that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I can say without question it is worth it. Let me know if you have any questions on building a clone, Lord knows I had a bunch when I started and I'd be more than happy to help if I can.
