Just got the stuff to get my A/C working on the 68. Most everything is mounted, but i have no power at the wire coming out of the firewall.

Where is the switch that turns it on? Pulled the controls, and nothing but vaccum hookups on the heat/AC control. Sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

Can't help much, just a basic electrical direction... trace that some colored wire from the firewall all the way to the controls... if you still see no current, perhaps the controls are bad... also test the 12v feed to the controls...

My question, I see "5.0" in your name so I'm assuming you have an injected 5.0 in your car... did you use late model parts to assemble your a/c system? thanks

Looking for wiring diagram now i guess. May have to break down and buy one. Have power at the fan controls, and power at the thermostat inside the car for the a/c, just no power at the wire thru the firewall.

The name refers to the 5.0 car i had when i started the account ( Still have a 93 Cobra). But the 68 is a mostly stock 302 fastback. Bought the compressor conversion from classic auto air, and all the rest of the stuff outside the firewall.

Thanks for the reply.

A/C Problem

Did you pull the a/c switch panel and check to make sure everything is connection properly? Looking at my wiring manual, the power switch starts there.
