As I mentioned in another thread, I'm changing my long shaft box for a short shaft and installing a '68 column.

I got the column a couple years ago, and it didn't come with the signal light switch. I think it supposed to be the type with the hazard switch, but I don't think the new switch will come with the knob or screw.
You can see the metal retaining ring with the three screws.

I think the plastic ring with the small spring loaded pin is for the cancelling mechanism. It must be remnants of the old switch.

I have the plates/seal that mount the column to the firewall, but not sure about a plastic sleeve in the end.

If I could get a better picture of the switch, I could probably answer some of my questions.
1. Does the switch include the spring loaded horn contacts?

2. What are the splines for? (located between the arrows)

3. Any other differences between the columns I need to know about?
