I am currently rebuilding a 68 FastBack (302-4V). Installilng new Front Disc Brakes
requires that I must use a 15" Tire. My local tire man suggest that I skip 15x7 and
go straight to 16x8 with a Bullet 180C 5 Spoke Chrome Wheel, Cooper Cobra Tires, that this wheel has an off set that is required on the Mustang. Does my tire man know what's he talking about or is the 16x8 too big
Any comments will be appreciated

actually on the 68 a 16x8 wheel in not too big as long as you have the proper backspacing, 4 1/2 - 4 5/8" as i recall. use a 245/50-16 tire, 255 if you want one slightly larger remember you dont need a huge tire with these cars as light as they are.
