ok i have a flat tappet 302 block and was wundering if i convert it to roller if i can use my factory roller lifters i have all the hardware and what not. does anybody know if this will work or do i have to buy special lifters

If you use your factory rollers, you have to use a small base circle cam, which leaves quite a bit of power on the table. Your best bet is honestly to either find a roller block, or run the link bar lifters, as expensive as they are.

ok well thats why i was asking bc i allready have a small base circle cam for this set up i just wanted to double check and make sure bc i just got a 302 block since i split my other roller block

my opinion: make life simple and run the expensive lifters if you don't want to get another roller block. I would consider the roller block first though.
