I am considering converting a 69 Mustang from a C6 Auto to Manual transmission but wanted to see if I could get input from everyone before I get knee deep in this. I've read articles for late model mustang conversions but haven't found any good ones for earlier models. Does anyone sell a "kit" for doing this? Any doner suggestions? Personal experiences? Gains/losses/suggestions?
My other idea was to simply beaf up the C6. A friend suggested switching to a C4 - but I don't know why that would offer much of anything (lighter I guess). The car has a 351 with about 340hp.
