Ok so I installed the 6G alt in my car and I like it a lot, but today I started putting in my SC-Trim and decided I would cut back on the wires so that I don't have an extra foot of alternator wires cluttering my engine bay.

I bought the plug from PA Performance and it came with a green, yellow, and white wire and what I discovered was when I went further down into the harness the white wire just dissapeared, it was not connected to anything, it seemed like it did a U-Turn and joined up with the stock 10gauge charging wires so would this be the stator wire?

I was confused because I did not know why PA Performance would include the white wire on the alternator plug if it was not going to connect to anything.

And also, when I am idling my voltage jumps up and down but when I start to go and drive it stays the same right at the middle mark in the voltage meter...what is that all about?

Thanks!

Thanks for the help, that is what I figured!

Can anyone solve our problems about the bouncing idle?

Do you have a 4g ground to yours?

Yea I have no idea, it wasn't doing it with the stock alt then all of a sudden it started happening when I installed this one.

Maybe we just don't have good batteries.
