70 Mustang Power Steering?

I restored the stock power steering on my 70 Mach 1 using ALL brand new Flaming River parts. It has a new 16:1 steering gear box, valve assembly, and cylinder. My question is how this stock setup with new improved Flaming River parts match up to Flaming Rivers new manual rack and pinion conversion kit. How much of an improvement would I see? Is it worth it to do the swap? At the time I was restoring the steering components, Flaming River had not came out with this setup. I do know that with the manual rack and pinion, I would not have to worry about leaky fluids. Anyone running this setup? What would be the benefits? If the benefits are slim, I do not want to go through the trouble with the swap. Thanks.

i would advise staying away from their rack kit, i have seen way too many people that have not been able to get them to work right. if you have headers then this kit is definitely not for you stay away, stay far far away
