8" Differential - yolk to housing - does this sound right?

Greetings,
I recently bought a rebuilt 8" rear end w/ 3.40 and TracLoc. UPS brought it today. I checked it out and noticed that, although identical, the yolk seems to have a much larger gap to the housing than the one I am taking off. The one I have practically touches the housing while the new one has a 3/16" gap. I have attached a couple pictures...
Does this look like a problem?

Thanks for the reply. I was more concerned with the gap indicating a problem with the way the differential was built. I think my driveshaft tends to be on the long side anyway so I will have to make sure it still has enough slack in it after I install this rear end.
I talked to an 'expert' at the local transmission shop and he seemed to think the gap was fine. He said that the crush collar has more to do with this spacing than anything else. I guess the nut is tightened to a certain torque and however far the collar crushes determines how far the yolk sticks out... I don't know enough about it to dispute this.
