ive seen kits for sale that were calibrated for eachother with 70mm, 24 pounders and the tuned ecu. im looking to graft EFI onto a 351 cleveland. im looking to use the eeciv. it has 450 horse so im looking for the injectors to be able support up to atleast 500 horse. i want to have at least 1000 cfm all the way through it. (throttle body and MAF).
i just thought you would be the guys to ask if this is available or do i have to piece the parts together and get a tuner/tweecer

BTW, does anyone happen to know offhand what the injector size and MAF size is for a 460 V8. i already need the 460 efi distributor.

I don't quite understand the first part of your post. The second part about injector and MAF size is all relative. If the 460 is making 460 horsepower, your going to need to look into 36's or 42's. If it's making 1000 horsepower, your going to need a 92 or 106 lb/hr injector. Also, with the mass air units - you can never have "too big" of a mass air. The larger the better. I believe Pro-M makes the biggest with an 83mm, which is one of the best flowing mass air meter on the market.

im putting electronic fuel injection on my 351 cleveland. the 351 is making about 450 horse (so 36# or lager injectors). i want the MAF and throttle body to have about 1000 cfm. (cubic feet/minute)

i wanted to know if a kit with 80mm or larger MAF, 36# or larger injectors, and programmed ECU was available that was already calibrated to work together so i could have plug and play operation.

the part about the 460 c.i.d. v8 is, the 460 big blocks have the same distributor drive as the 351 clevland small block. 460s were new enough to have EFI so i would go to the junkyard for the distributor and while i was there, i would scavange the rest of the parts if its worth it. (big enough)

With EFI, the ECU automatically compensates for the injector size and A/F ratios based on readings from the mass air meter and the oxygen sensors. The Mass air meter has to be calibrated for the type of injectors you are using. The same EEC-IV can use 19's just as easily as a set or 36's, just remember to have the meter calibrated for the size injector that you are running.
