Is the hurst shifter out of the 84 SVO mustang any good? Is it comparable to the comp plus model? I am thinking of purchasing one and can get it very cheap. thanks
It's nothing special. Hurst has really improved the design of their shifters since then. Those shifters only have some value to them because they came out of SVO's. The new Hurst's are much better and probably just as cheap. If you can get it for a little bit of nothing, get it, put it in, and go from there to see if you like it.
