86 Interior Progress

'89 Dash, installed 140 cluster, freshened up the dash and center console with interior paint, installed center gauge bezel, new carpet, seats installed.
Once I get the center console, I just need to wire in the ashtray nitrous panel and it will be close to done. Well close because there is always something...

man that 86 is tight as hell. wish my 84 predator didnt go to the crusher. miss them 4 eye stangs.

Thanks. It's a lot of hard work and sweat doing it in your garage during the summer but the reward is well worth it.

The hood has a 4" cowl.

Thanks for the reply..... I want my 85 to look like yours...same hood and paint scheme...all black with the grey hood sticker...I love that look......

Nice!! Is the steering wheel original?

Seeing your glove box reminds me how my latch handle has discolored. Got to get that touched up

Yah thats what I noticed. Very nice touch to keep the 86 steering wheel. I love that wheel. Same as is in my car. My nephew was in the back of my car and when I turned a corner he said my steering wheel is an upside down face smilling. I laughed but he is right.

How much work to install that dash? Any links to help with that modification?

lol. I actually found them on ebay. OE Sarasota Wheels or something like that. If I find the link I'll send it to you.
