the small window on the lower right hand side of the dash bezel has four idiot lights( check engine, low fuel,etc.). this is on my 88 saleen which is an lx and the manual says these only work on the gt? i swear that i had an 88 lx that these worked. how do you make them work? harness? bulbs missing? i cant remember. it has been a long time since i have owned a fox body.

if all else fails, search old posts by Mustang 5L5 - I believe he made his operable/installed some from a GT, but I dont know what he had to do.

good luck.

Electrical - 87-89 Low Fluid Light Module Install

87-89 Mustang GTs came standard with a fluid warning light pod on the right side of the GUAGE cluster. LX cars had the same display window, but these lights were not functional as they are missing a few key components. For you LX guys that have that low fluid warning pod on your Guage cluster...
