I think you can swap any of the convertible/t-top doors onto any other convertible/t-top car. The only differences, to the best of my knowledge, are the later models have a different mirror location. If anyone knows more than I, I'm sure they'll speak up.
I believe the 86 uses different window switches than the 87 and up. My 86 had chrome switches located on the door instead of like the newer ones with them in the door arm rest part.
