Brakes 80 Mustang 4.2 rear chassis brake line for 5 lug conversion!

Hey yall! So I am having a dilemma!

I have a 1980 mustang Ghia, 4.2. I have done the 5 lug install, with a 95 5.0 rear end. For the plumbing on the rear end, I went ahead and installed a kit from maximum Motorsports, that includes the 2 axle lines, center line that goes to chassis line in rear, and hardware.

My dilema is, I can’t seem to find a line that goes in between the chassis line on the rear of the car down to the axle. Maximum Motorsports and LMR has it for the 86-93 cars I believe but nothing for the 79-83 cars. Can anyone guide me in the right direction? Thanks so much in advance!

You will need to switch to the 86-93 brake line from the firewall to the rear of the car which is the intermediate line. You will also need the bracket and fitting that attaches to the body of the car above the rear end.

LMR sells the bracket and fitting:

Watch the LMR video and it pretty much shows you where it installs and they also have the intermediate brake line available.

I did this years ago on my 83 T-Bird but got all my parts off a wrecked 5.0 Mustang.
