So I'm just starting to dig into my 87 LX Vert project. I noticed in the trunk there is a switch mounted in the rear wall in the area of the drivers side tail lights which has what looks like a reset switch on it? Does anyone know what this small switch is? Is it an emergency trunk release?? The switch did nothing but the car keeps draining the battery so that's another issue I have to tackle but I can't test it yet until I get a charge on it.

That switch is likely the inertia switch, it shuts off the fuel pump when a crash or rollover happens.
