Looking to see if anyone can help or has any ideas...

Looking for a set of doors for 87 gt convertible. They're rusted at the bottom with blistered paint. The cause was from sitting and having poor door/window seal and water ran into door and rusted through. I've looked about everywhere I can think of and can't find much of anything. I'm in the process of restoring my decreased parents toy for my daughter. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm in Maryland but working and will try and post some pics later. It pretty much sat for a few years covered with the occasional drive but everything works and runs strong. This is pretty much the only big problem area with the body. It's to the point where there's holes at the bottom seam of the door in multiple places. Kinda pissed I didn't realize it sooner so not wouldn't have gotten this bad. Getting a water proof cover in the mean time and will be replacing all weather striping. Thanks for the reply.

87 had the mirrors still attached to the door. In 1988, they went to the hockey puck style mirrors on the vert and T-tops.

83-87 vert doors will work for you, and the 81-87 T-tops doors will work as well if you swap your glass over.

You possibly could run the 88-93 vert doors but unsure if it would require changing up the weather seal where the mirror meets the windshield

Thanks for the reply and all the info. Much appreciated. Yeah I noticed the difference in mirrors once I started looking good amount. Good to know I have several options just hope I can find some decent ones. Thanks again.
