I have an 87 GT. Can anyone tell me where i can get some molding for the windows. Im replacing the window channel weatherstrip. In the process i pulled a piece of trim off the passenger side window frame. I cant find it anywhere. Is there a place that i can get this? Please anyone that knows please help me. Thanks

I would go with 50resto.com for this one. Blue Oval has ZERO customer support. IF you get the wrong part you will get yelled at and recieve no help whatsoever. That being said I have yet to recieve any bad parts from Blue Oval, but there are a lot of people that have had customer relations with them.

My experiences with BOI have all been great, including a warranty replacement with absolutely no hassle.

I have looked at 50 resto and they don't have that part. I will have to post a pic of what i need so you know what i need. The piece is on the passenger side door, on the back side going up and down.

all those parts are available. the window run rubber, drip rails moldings, the outside molding, teh dew wipes, the door jamb rubbers all of it. you can get if from 50 resto like posted. Fox body resortation ( if you call and talk to the owner he can get oem he did for me), PPI, laurel mountian mustang, cjpony, etc, etc, etc . I'm doing a restoration right now on my mustang and I bought all of those parts new oem but they have them repop also. they are out there.

here is a link to my build if you are interested with pics of all the parts I have bought http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/799980-skunk21s-project-thread.html

skunk21 thanks for the help. The molding that i need is metal, that is on the passenger window. If you look at the door, the piece of metal is at the back of the widow opening. It goes up and down, at the top it has a bevel then goes on the top of the opening to the front. The rubber window run weatherstrip sits up against this piece. Ive got a ford part number but all the dealerships say its not available. It looks like i will have to find a junkyard around here that has a car to get it off of. This is very frustrating. Thanks
