88 Convertible top not going all the way down??

I was wondering if anyone had a 87-93 convertible and had the top working, but not fully retracting. It seems to be working fine, but when its gets about 1/4 down, it won't go any further. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Your trunk empty... How's the condition of your top... ? is the motor still trying to work as it is going down but stopped?? fluid good??? nothing getting in the way.. like while the vert top is up... nothing behind the rear seat keeping the top from folding down??
