HEY new to the mustang scene just picked up an 88 Gt convertible 5 speed after buying an 87 Gt auto did not like the auto, any way I have built a 5.0 before but carbed, i started to order some performance parts like an e303 cam and aluminum heads, and found I was wasting my time since my car has the speed density set up? I now know way more about S.D. and mass air than I need to and found an original ford racing conversion kit used with no directions, finally my question, is it just as simple as plugging it in and adding the maf unit? also, what would be the next best bang for my buck for performance? thank you.

Welcome to the site. Congrats on getting into the Stang family...You have seen the light.

basic bolt on's consist of

3:55 or 3:73 gears
k/n intake
exhaust
Pullys
Throttle body

those are the simple quick and effective bolt on's that we began with.

In regards to the whole SD issue......I had a 87 like your but crashed it before I could to the swap.

btw..post some pics asap!

easy way of doing it is

open a photobucket.com account

http://photobucket.com/

then down load pics from your computer to photobucket. then they will give you a image code. click and paste that on to stangnet and your done. simple after you get it the first time.
