they are the same intake...but you can change your throttle body, i'm pretty sure yours came with a 55mm and later model stangs have 58 or 60mm can't remember wich...anyway might be worth 2 hp
The lowers are the same - the 86 upper is supposed to have smaller runner cross section. Prob not enough to spend moneyon though - the lower is where the power is hidden.
