FYI, I didn't BUY the '84 - I traded a dude teh Pervertible for it. No money changed hands, just titles. It's kind of a mechanical attention whore at the moment, and I'm not wild about the 155-horse CFI motor, but I still think I came out on top of the deal:
Hardtop + AOD w/shift kit + 84k original miles + almost-no-options LX hatch
VERSUS
Rotted-out 'vert top with no rear window + stock AOD + 198k miles + heavy-arsed 'vert chassis with power windows and locks
I wonder if the dude with the '83 T-top would be interested in trading for a not-quite-cherry '86 GMC S-15...?[/b[
