Assume you have 4-cylinder Mustang?

Then yes, if you convert to dual exhaust using a 5.0 cat back, the brake line will run very close to the passenger side exhaust piping.

Car is currently a 351 Windsor. Not sure what motor was in it
I just bought the car recently, looks like it had duals at one time as i'm seeing old brackets for exhaust.

Somebody went to the trouble to swap in a 351W, and installed a single exhaust on it? If so, how big is the current single exhaust?

Car had dual exhaust, exited in front of rear wheels. I want to exit in the stock location. Concerned about the brake hose issue.

If you have stock hangars then you will be fine.

Well if you are running a 351 you will need some swap headers. I've never had issues with bbk headers abd they are pretty affordable

Here's the plan. Bbk headers, Bbk x pipe, dynomax vt mufflers, stock tailpipes. All in 2 1\2 except 1 5\8 primary tubes.
