I have a general background understanding of how to replace a cam but i'm not 100% confident yet. I was wondering if anyone knows of any useful Web sites or has any suggestions as to additional parts I will have to purchase in order to replace the Cam on our 88GT. The only Mods the car has are Cold air induction, racing clutch, and full exhaust.

You need to get the speed density guys in here - your car's efi system is dependant on a vacuum signal through the MAP sensor. They are much more sensitive to cam replacements which lower idle vacuum than the maf cars are. You say "cams" - there is only one. You'd probably be much happier with performance gains by doing things other than replacing the cam. The engine will be much happier with a different intake manifold and a different set of heads before you try replacing the cam.

Allong with the cam we were planning on buying 65mm tb, and a Cobra Intake. As of right now heads are way to expensive.
